Charity of Choice:

“For the past five years, this conference has been a source of inspiration and renewal. The dynamic speakers, uplifting energy, and genuine connections have not only enriched my life but also reminded me of how valuable I am and how important it is to cherish each day.”

Charity of Choice:

Founded in 2018, Help A Girl Out is a Canadian charity dedicated to advancing menstrual equity, through education, access and empowerment initiatives for women, girls, and people who menstruate to take charge of their menstrual and uterine health and break cycles of stigma and inequality. Through our flagship programs, we’ve distributed over one million menstrual products across 350+ Canadian cities, hosted 300+ menstrual and uterine health workshops,  with over 50 community partner organizations. Over the past 7 years, we have built a community that believes menstrual health and education are a necessary right and have worked to combat period poverty in Canada, the Caribbean and Africa. The organization is also active in the Hamilton Community in partnership with local groups. https://helpagirlout.org/

Katie McClelland – EMCEE

Katie has been teaching yoga full time since 1997. She likes to joke she was born certified to teach, as her mother went through yoga teacher training when she was pregnant with her! In 2006 she co-founded De La Sol Yoga Studios and continues to oversee her bustling Hamilton location. Katie has trained over 800 yoga teachers and teaches workshops and hosts retreats abroad. Airing since 2010, Katie hosts ‘Yoga with Katie’, a 30min instructional yoga show on Cable 14. Katie is passionate about speaking at conferences, high schools and recovery centers about her history of drug addiction, the power of movement, breath and mindfulness, and ongoing journey towards wellness and wholeness. She is currently working on her first book, a memoir. In her words:
‘I am a dedicated yogi and spiritual seeker, recovering addict, speaker, mentor, writer, singer, mother, daughter, sister and confidant. For years I doubted my path, denied my gifts and attempted to self-medicate my depression and anxiety away. I wanted to live big, but felt frozen. The more I desperately sought to realize my potential, the harder I stumbled and the further I fell. It feels absolutely wonderful and liberating to have found my truth, my voice, and my place in this world! I am passionate about sharing my message of self-love in order to help others overcome self-sabotage and find peace and fulfillment in their lives. I have tools, strategies and practices that keep me in a positive headspace and moving in an upwards trajectory, and by sharing these practices my life is infused with passion and purpose!’

Opening Keynote Speaker -Irene Hogan,
Pharmacist | Author | Menopause Expert

Irene Hogan is a pharmacist, author, and award-winning innovator with more than 40 years of experience helping women reclaim their health and confidence through every stage of life.

Her passion for women’s wellbeing began in childhood, watching her father care for his community in Nettles Chemist, the pharmacy beneath their family home. That early lesson in compassion and service shaped a lifelong career devoted to empowering women through knowledge and care.

After immigrating to Canada in 1986, Irene became known for her award-winning women’s health programs and her unique blend of science and natural medicine, trained at the London School of Pharmacy in homeopathy and botanical medicine.

But after decades of professional success, Irene faced her own health and career crisis — workplace harassment, burnout, and redundancy at 55. That turning point became the start of her true calling: helping women navigate menopause, stress, and midlife transitions with confidence and understanding.

Her bestselling book, Hot Chixs, Hot Sex: How to Survive Menopause, was inspired by the stories of her patients and their shared frustration — “I didn’t know what to do.” The book was recently featured at the Oscars gifting lounge, amplifying her message that menopause can be a time of renewal, not decline.

Today, Irene empowers women to see health as their greatest wealth — the foundation for energy, clarity, and a vibrant life fully lived.

Maria Onilla

Maria Onilla is a Canadian entrepreneur, educator, and visionary founder whose work bridges the worlds of beauty, education, immigration, and healthcare. Known for her innovation and integrity, she has built mission-driven ventures that empower individuals and strengthen communities.
Maria’s journey began in immigration and education, where she guided newcomers, families, and international students to successfully build new lives in Canada. Her consulting practice evolved into partnerships with career colleges, universities, and staffing agencies, helping people gain Canadian credentials, secure meaningful work, and achieve independence. She became a trusted voice in turning complex compliance systems into pathways for growth and opportunity—especially for women, caregivers, and immigrants.
At 56, Maria embarked on a new chapter with Edit Beauty Inc., a conscious beauty brand grounded in sustainability, inclusivity, and self-love. Its signature product, Ebe Lashes, combines plant-based, biodegradable, and cruelty-free technology with the ease of everyday use.
Guided by the motto “Effortless Everyday,” Maria’s brand reflects her belief that beauty should be simple, empowering, and kind to the planet. Across all her ventures, she continues to blend business excellence with social purpose—helping others dream bigger, rise higher, and live beautifully.

Closing Keynote Speaker – Jessica Opoku

Jessica is a dynamic, faith-fueled speaker who brings equal parts truth, laughter, and “sis, that’s me!” energy.
She’s no longer afraid to keep it real — whether she’s talking about burnout, boundaries, or the blessing of learning how to rest without guilt.
Known for her bold voice and heart for women, Jessica hopes to inspire audiences to make health choices that honour both body and spirit.
She’s walked the road of “doing too much” — until her body (and the Holy Spirit) told her to slow down and take a seat. Now, she’s leaning into and living in the power of saying “no,” to herself and others (including family).
Her talk, The Right Choice for My Health, is a heartfelt blend of humor, honesty, and hope.
Jessica doesn’t pretend to have it all figured out. She’ll be the first to admit she still slides back into old habits sometimes. But she keeps showing up, choosing herself and pushing toward wholeness — one prayer, one laugh, and one boundary at a time.
Her message is simple but powerful: rest, reset, and to say no even when it’s hard.
Jessica’s relatable storytelling will leave audiences feeling seen, encouraged, and ready to make the right choice…
